Texas A&M-Commerce at Southeastern Louisiana
HAMMOND, La. (Interstat) — A Southland Conference matchup between two teams sharing the same nickname will see the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions visit the Southeastern Louisiana Lions on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.
Both teams enter the contest looking to rebound from lopsided road losses against Power Five opponents. Texas A&M-Commerce (2-2) is coming off a 112-59 defeat at the hands of Oklahoma on Wednesday. Reza Po led the team with 15 points in that contest, followed by Tiani Ellison with 14. Their two wins this season have come in dominant fashion against lower-division opponents UNT Dallas and Texas-Dallas.
Southeastern Louisiana (1-3) is also seeking momentum after a 53-86 loss to Southern Mississippi on Tuesday. Natalie Huff paced the team with 16 points in the defeat. The team’s lone victory was a 105-49 rout of Centenary to open the season.
The game will be the conference opener for both programs, marking an early opportunity to establish a foothold in the Southland standings. The matchup will be held at the University Center in Hammond.
Tipoff is scheduled for Saturday.
