PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — The La Salle Explorers, off to a strong 4-1 start, will host the struggling American Eagles in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Tom Gola Arena.

La Salle enters the contest with momentum following an 83-50 victory over West Chester on Tuesday. Ashleigh Connor led the way with 18 points and four assists, while Kiara Williams added 16 points. The Explorers’ only loss this season was a 75-54 defeat at Temple.

American (1-2) looks to rebound from a 68-57 home loss to Delaware on Monday. Despite the loss, Madisyn Moore-Nicholson scored 20 points for the Eagles. American’s lone win was a 66-63 season-opening victory against Delaware State, but the team fell 78-38 at Clemson in its other road test.

The game will be the final non-conference tune-up for La Salle before it hosts Villanova next Tuesday. American will return home to face Yale on Nov. 26.
