Penn State vs. Princeton
NASSAU, The Bahamas (Interstat) — The unbeaten Penn State Lady Lions will face the Princeton Tigers in a non-conference women’s basketball game Saturday at Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium.
Penn State (4-0) is coming off an 89-77 road victory over Saint Joseph’s on Sunday. The Lady Lions’ offense has been potent, averaging 86 points per game. In the win over Saint Joseph’s, center Gracie Merkle posted a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while guards Tea Cleante (23 points) and Kiyomi McMiller (15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists) provided significant production.
Princeton (3-1) enters the contest after defeating Rice 69-56 on Wednesday. The Tigers’ lone loss was an 84-68 defeat at Maryland last Sunday. Guard Madison St. Rose leads a balanced Princeton attack, scoring 19 points in the team’s most recent win, with Skye Belker and Fadima Tall adding 15 and 16 points, respectively.
The neutral-site game in Nassau is part of a multi-team event for both programs. Penn State will look to maintain its perfect start against a Princeton team that has already secured road wins over Georgia Tech and Villanova this season. The matchup features two of the region’s top offenses early in the 2025-26 campaign.
