DAVIS, Calif. (Interstat) — UC Davis remained undefeated Friday afternoon, using a balanced offensive attack to defeat the Idaho Vandals 89-76 in a non-conference women’s basketball game at The Pavilion. The Aggies improved to 2-0 while Idaho evened its record at 1-1 before a crowd of 5,567.

Ryann Bennett led UC Davis with 21 points and six assists, one of four Aggies to score in double figures. Megan Norris added a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Idaho’s Ana Pinheiro also recorded a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Aggies built their lead by capitalizing on turnovers, scoring 25 points off Idaho miscues.
