Green Bay at N.Y. Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Interstat) — The Green Bay Packers, looking to rebound from back-to-back narrow losses, visit the struggling New York Giants on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Green Bay (5-3-1) enters the contest after a 10-7 defensive struggle against Philadelphia on Monday night. Quarterback Jordan Love, who passed for 176 yards and rushed for 28 more in the loss, will look to reignite an offense that was held to 13 and 7 points in its last two outings after a three-game winning streak.

The Giants (2-8-1) are mired in a four-game losing skid, most recently falling 24-20 to the Chicago Bears. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart provided a spark in that game, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns while adding 66 rushing yards.

Despite the disparity in records, the Giants have been installed as 6.5-point favorites by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 42.5 points. A projection from Interstat simulates a 26-21 victory for New York.

The game will be the first of a tough closing stretch for the Packers, who face Minnesota, Detroit, and Chicago twice in their final seven games. The Giants continue a stretch of four out of five games on the road after this contest.
