Arizona at Seattle

SEATTLE (Interstat) — The Seattle Seahawks erupted for 21 points in the first quarter and never looked back, cruising to a 44-22 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in a National Football League contest on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at a rain-soaked Lumen Field.

A crowd of 68,723 watched as the Seahawks improved their record to 7-2, solidifying their position atop the NFC West, while the Cardinals fell to 3-6.

Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold was surgical in the opening onslaught, completing 10 of 12 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown before giving way to the run game and backup Drew Lock. Darnold’s favorite target was Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who caught five passes for 93 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown strike that opened the scoring just over four minutes into the game.

The Seahawks’ ground attack was equally dominant, amassing over 200 yards. Zach Charbonnet led the way with 83 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, while Kenneth Walker III added 67 yards on 14 attempts. George Holani also punched in a 9-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Arizona, which lost to Seattle 23-20 in late September, struggled to find an offensive rhythm against a relentless Seahawks defense. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 22 of 44 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked five times and frequently harassed in the pocket. He also added 31 rushing yards on four scrambles.

The Cardinals’ offense was largely contained until the second half. They managed only a Greg Dortch 4-yard touchdown run on a direct snap late in the second quarter. In the third quarter, Brissett connected with tight end Trey McBride on a 15-yard touchdown pass and found Marvin Harrison Jr. for a successful two-point conversion. Brissett hit Harrison Jr. again for a 9-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring.

McBride was a bright spot for Arizona, hauling in nine receptions for 127 yards and a score. Running back Emari Demercado provided a spark with 64 rushing yards, including a 55-yard burst in the fourth quarter.

The Seahawks’ defense was a collective force, led by linebacker Tyrice Knight, who recorded eight tackles and two sacks. Safety Nick Emmanwori posted a team-high nine tackles and shared a sack with defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. The unit consistently stifled Arizona’s drives, with the Cardinals failing to score in the first quarter and only finding sustained success after the game was well in hand.

Seattle kicker Jason Myers was perfect on the day, converting all three of his field goal attempts from 46, 32, and 34 yards, and making all five of his extra-point tries.

The final score of 66 points fell well under the pregame over/under line of 44.5. The Seahawks covered the spread as 6.5-point favorites, a result that aligned with Interstat’s projections, which gave Seattle a 90.4 percent probability to win and predicted a final score of 32-20.

Seattle will look to continue its winning ways next Sunday when it travels to face the Los Angeles Rams. Arizona returns home to host the San Francisco 49ers.
