Seattle at Washington
LANDOVER, Md. (Interstat) — A surging Seattle Seahawks squad visits the struggling Washington Commanders on Sunday in an NFC matchup with divergent season trajectories.
The Seahawks (5-2) enter FedEx Field riding a three-game winning streak, most recently a 27-19 victory over the Houston Texans on Oct. 20. Quarterback Sam Darnold, who threw for 213 yards and a touchdown in that contest, has been a key part of Seattle’s early success.
Conversely, the Commanders (3-5) are looking to halt a three-game skid. They are coming off a 28-7 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs where quarterback Marcus Mariota accounted for their lone touchdown.
Despite the records, the game is projected to be close. Washington has been installed as a 2.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 48.5 points. A projection from Interstat forecasts a final score of Washington 29, Seattle 22.
The game will be the first of a crucial 10-game stretch for both teams as they navigate the second half of the NFL season.
