Tennessee at Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — A clash of AFC South teams heading in opposite directions will take place Sunday when the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts (6-1) enter the contest riding high, having won six of their first seven games. Their most recent victory was a 38-24 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers, powered by quarterback Daniel Jones, who threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
Conversely, the Titans (1-6) are mired in a deep slump, losing five straight games. They are coming off a 31-13 home loss to the New England Patriots. Quarterback Cam Ward threw for 255 yards and a touchdown in the losing effort.
The teams are already familiar with one another this season. In their Week 3 meeting on Sept. 21, the Colts dominated the Titans in a 41-20 road victory.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Colts are projected to win again, this time by a score of 32-22. Oddsmakers have installed Indianapolis as a heavy favorite, giving Tennessee a 14.5-point cushion on the spread. The over/under is set at 47.5 points.
The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. EDT kickoff on Sunday, Oct. 26.
