Las Vegas at Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Interstat) — A pivotal AFC West clash is set for Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Both teams enter the contest with identical 3-3 records, looking to build momentum in a tightly packed conference. The Chiefs are coming off a decisive 30-17 victory over the Detroit Lions, a game in which quarterback Patrick Mahomes was dominant, throwing for three touchdowns and adding 32 yards on the ground.

The Raiders, meanwhile, snapped a three-game skid with a 20-10 win over the Tennessee Titans. Quarterback Geno Smith was efficient in the victory, completing 17 of 23 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the Raiders’ recent struggles, they have been installed as a pregame underdog by 12.5 points. The over/under is set at 45.5. According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Chiefs are projected to win with a final score of 32-22.

The matchup will feature a marquee quarterback duel between Mahomes and Smith. Kansas City’s offense will look to exploit a Las Vegas defense that allowed 40 points to Indianapolis just two weeks ago. The Raiders’ hope will be to control the clock and keep Mahomes off the field.

Sunday’s game is the first of two meetings between the division rivals this season, with the rematch scheduled for Jan. 3 in Las Vegas.
