INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Interstat) — The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 26-23 in overtime on Thursday night at SoFi Stadium. Eddy Pineiro kicked a 41-yard field goal in the extra period to win it for the 49ers after the Rams’ Joshua Karty had sent the game to overtime with a 48-yard kick as time expired in regulation. Mac Jones threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns for San Francisco, while Matthew Stafford passed for 389 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams in the loss. San Francisco improved to 4-1, while Los Angeles fell to 3-2.
