Cleveland vs. Memphis

Cavaliers Visit Grizzlies in Season Finale Tune-Up

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Interstat) — The playoff-bound Cleveland Cavaliers face the lottery-bound Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night at FedExForum in a game showcasing two teams at opposite ends of the NBA spectrum.

The Cavaliers (49-29) enter the regular season’s final week solidified in the Eastern Conference playoff picture and riding a wave of momentum, having won seven of their last 10 games. They are coming off a 117-108 home victory over Indiana on Sunday, led by All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell’s 38 points.

Mitchell has been on a scoring tear, averaging 28.5 points over his last 10 contests, including a 42-point outburst against Orlando on March 24. His backcourt mate, James Harden, added 28 points and seven assists in Sunday’s win.

Conversely, the Grizzlies (25-53) have struggled through a difficult season, losing 10 of their last 12. They fell 131-115 in Milwaukee on Sunday despite a standout performance from guard Rayan Rupert, who recorded a triple-double with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Rupert’s recent play provides a bright spot for Memphis, though consistency has been elusive. The team has allowed an average of 124.3 points over its last 10 games, a defensive vulnerability the Cavaliers’ high-powered offense is poised to exploit.

Cleveland won the season’s first meeting, 108-100, at home on Nov. 15, 2025. According to Interstat’s ELO system, the Cavaliers are projected with an 88.2% probability to win Monday’s contest.

For Cleveland, the game serves as a final tune-up before the postseason, with an eye on maintaining health and rhythm. They close the season with a three-game homestand against Atlanta (twice) and Washington.

Memphis, playing out the string, will look to build around young talents like Rupert before embarking on a three-game road trip to Denver, Utah and Houston to end its season.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CDT.
