Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers

LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The National League Championship Series shifts to Dodger Stadium on Thursday night with the Los Angeles Dodgers holding a commanding 2-0 lead over the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Dodgers seized control of the best-of-seven series with a pair of narrow victories in Milwaukee, winning 2-1 on Monday and 5-1 on Tuesday. Yoshinobu Yamamoto was dominant in the Game 2 win, throwing a complete game while allowing just three hits and striking out seven.

Both teams finished the regular season with 100 wins, but the Brewers now face a must-win scenario in Game 3. Teams taking a 2-0 lead in a best-of-seven MLB playoff series have gone on to win the series over 84% of the time.

Despite the deficit, the Brewers can draw confidence from their recent success at Dodger Stadium. During a three-game sweep in July, Milwaukee outscored Los Angeles 16-5.

The weather forecast for the 5:07 p.m. PDT first pitch calls for cloudy skies and a temperature of 67 degrees. According to Interstat, the Dodgers are projected to win 7-4 and are installed as pregame favorites with a spread of -1.5. The over/under is set at 7.5 runs.
