Toronto 13, at Seattle 4

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 · Final · Championship Series Game 3 (SEA leads 2-1)

Toronto Blue Jays at Seattle Mariners

SEATTLE (Interstat) — The Seattle Mariners will look to capitalize on their home-field advantage and a commanding series lead when they host the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3 of their American League playoff series on Wednesday at T-Mobile Park.

The Mariners, who hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series, have outscored the Blue Jays 13-4 in the first two games in Toronto. Seattle’s offense erupted in a 10-3 victory on Monday, powered by home runs from Jorge Polanco and Josh Naylor.

Facing elimination, the Blue Jays will turn to right-hander Shane Bieber (4-2, 3.12 ERA) to steady the team. The Mariners will counter with their own right-hander, George Kirby (10-8, 3.45 ERA), in what sets up as a critical pitching duel.

Despite the lopsided recent results, the season series has been competitive. The Blue Jays swept a three-game set in Seattle in May, but the Mariners have won four of the last six head-to-head matchups, including the first two games of this playoff series.

According to Interstat, the Blue Jays are projected to stave off elimination with a 7-5 victory. However, oddsmakers have installed the Mariners as a -1.5 run favorite, with the over/under set at 6.5 runs.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EDT.
