Brewers Rally With Six-Run Eighth to Stun White Sox

MILWAUKEE (Interstat) — Christian Yelich hit a three-run, pinch-hit homer in a six-run eighth inning as the Milwaukee Brewers rallied from a five-run deficit to beat the Chicago White Sox 9-7 on Sunday at American Family Field.

The White Sox built a 7-2 lead, powered by Colson Montgomery’s first-inning grand slam and five RBIs. Milwaukee chipped away before sending 10 batters to the plate in the eighth. Yelich’s blast off Seranthony Domínguez capped the comeback.

Jake Woodford earned the win in relief. Trevor Megill secured the save. The Brewers moved to 3-0, while the White Sox fell to 0-3. Attendance was 32,737.
