Minnesota Twins at Baltimore Orioles

Preview: Twins, Orioles Set for Camden Yards Rematch

BALTIMORE (Interstat) — The Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles will meet for the second time in three days Saturday evening at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with both clubs looking to build early momentum in the young 2026 season.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. EDT under cloudy skies with temperatures around 49 degrees.

The Orioles (1-0) edged the Twins (0-1) 2-1 in Thursday’s season opener, a game defined by strong starting pitching. Baltimore will send right-hander Kyle Bradish to the mound for the follow-up. Bradish earned the win in that series opener, tossing seven scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and striking out five.

Minnesota will counter with right-hander Taj Bradley. The Twins’ bullpen, specifically Justin Topa, was charged with the loss Thursday after allowing the decisive run in the eighth inning.

A player to watch for Minnesota is starter Joe Ryan, who was brilliant in a hard-luck loss on Opening Day. Ryan held the Orioles to one hit over 5 1/3 shutout innings, striking out seven. For Baltimore, left-hander Trevor Rogers will be a key figure out of the bullpen after recording the final three outs for the save on Thursday, striking out the side in the ninth.

Despite the Orioles’ victory, projections suggest another tight contest. Interstat’s game simulator predicts a 2-1 Twins victory. However, the same outlet’s ELO rating system gives Baltimore a 58.4% probability to win. The Orioles have been installed as a -1.5 run favorite on the spread, with the over/under for total runs set at 7.5.

Following Saturday’s game, the teams will conclude the three-game series Sunday afternoon before heading their separate ways. The Twins will open a three-game set in Kansas City on Monday, while the Orioles will prepare to host the Texas Rangers for a three-game series starting the same day.
