BIG SPRING, Texas (March 28, 2026) (Interstat) — Howard (Tex.) used a dominant second half to defeat Southern Idaho 82-67 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

The Hawks outscored the Eagles 53-37 after halftime, pulling away behind efficient shooting. Howard shot 49.1% from the floor and 47.6% from 3-point range. Southern Idaho shot just 34.5% overall.

Terry Copeland led Howard with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Kuai Deng added 20 points. Ben Thornbrue scored 21 points for Southern Idaho, and Jalen Lyn added 19.

Howard improved to 31-5. Southern Idaho fell to 30-3.
