CENTRALIA, Ill. (Interstat) — The Shawnee Saints built a large early lead and withstood a second-half surge to defeat the Kaskaskia Blue Devils 75-65 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. Shawnee dominated the first quarter, taking a 37-25 lead. Kaskaskia outscored the Saints 40-38 after halftime but could not overcome the early deficit.
