TORRANCE, Calif. (Interstat) — The Barstow Vikings outlasted the El Camino Warriors 96-92 in overtime Thursday night in a men’s junior college basketball game.

Barstow led 85-83 after a frantic fourth quarter, forcing the extra period where they secured the road win. The Vikings improved to 3-6 overall, while El Camino fell to 6-4.

Peter Oguama and Kamari Stanfill led Barstow. Landon Starnes and Linken Tate paced the Warriors in the loss.

El Camino led 48-45 at halftime after a high-scoring first half, but a low-scoring third quarter set up the tight finish. Barstow next plays at Imperial Valley on Monday. El Camino hosts Bakersfield on Wednesday.
