(Interstat) — Yoshi Nimmo scored 30 points to lead the Northeast Mississippi Tigers to a 73-57 men’s junior college basketball victory over the East Georgia State Bobcats on Saturday. The Tigers used a dominant second quarter, outscoring the Bobcats 45-21 to pull away for the win. With the victory, Northeast Mississippi evened its season record at 3-3. East Georgia State’s losing streak extended to five games, dropping its record to 1-6. Khalid Racine led the Bobcats with 10 points.
