The Buccaneers used a dominant first quarter, outscoring the Royals 61-37, to seize control early. Dawson’s offense was efficient, recording 18 assists and 18 steals while forcing 29 turnovers. Matthew Kinzeler led the Buccaneers with 19 points, while Akok Ajou scored 23 for Lake Region State in the losing effort. The Royals begin the season 0-1, while Dawson starts 1-0.
