The Bulldogs secured the narrow road victory despite Ventura’s Jerimiyah Smith scoring 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Trenten Lavender led Allan Hancock with 19 points. The game was a defensive struggle, with both teams shooting poorly from three-point range. Ventura went 1 for 18, while Allan Hancock made just 2 of 15. The Bulldogs improved to 20-8 overall, while the Pirates, who entered with a 23-3 record, fell to 23-4.
