COFFEYVILLE, Kan. (Interstat) — The Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons earned a 74-68 men’s basketball victory over the Coffeyville Ravens on Saturday, overcoming a significant first-quarter deficit. Coffeyville led 33-27 after the opening period, but Hutchinson’s offense surged after halftime to secure the road win.

Daleron Thomas led Hutchinson with 23 points, while Bobby Cannon added 20. The Blue Dragons improved to 11-15 overall despite being outscored from three-point range. Jack Sorrell scored 18 points for Coffeyville, which fell to 16-9. Hutchinson shot 48.3% from the field and outrebounded the Ravens 36-31.
