Kaskaskia Upsets Top-Tier Vincennes in Junior College Men’s Basketball

CENTRALIA, Ill. (Interstat) — The Kaskaskia Blue Devils defeated the Vincennes Trailblazers 86-74 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday, avenging a loss from earlier this season. Vincennes, which entered the game with a 21-1 record, could not contain Kaskaskia’s offense after halftime. The Blue Devils outscored the Trailblazers 55-46 in the second half to pull away for the victory. The win improves Kaskaskia’s record to 6-9, while Vincennes falls to 21-2. The result was a reversal of the teams’ Jan. 17 meeting, which Vincennes won by 15 points. Kaskaskia was led by Myles Liddell and Allen Myers.
