ELLISVILLE, Miss. (Interstat) — The Jones Bobcats defeated the Copiah-Lincoln Wolves 78-69 in a men’s junior college basketball game Monday night. Dylan Rowe led Jones with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Tyrell Bowles posted 19 points and 10 rebounds for Copiah-Lincoln.

Jones used a decisive second-half run to pull away after a tight first half. The Bobcats shot 53 percent from the floor and capitalized at the free-throw line, making 19 of 28 attempts. Copiah-Lincoln shot 53 percent as well but committed 17 turnovers. The win improved Jones to 16-7 this season, while Copiah-Lincoln fell to 9-8. The teams are scheduled to meet again Tuesday.
