TORRINGTON, Wyo. (Interstat) — Eastern Wyoming edged Laramie County 107-104 in overtime Wednesday night in a men’s junior college basketball game. The Lancers, despite a 6-19 record, overcame a 98-107 halftime deficit fueled by a combined 196 points in a frenetic first half. Both offenses stalled after halftime, setting up the extra period.

TJ Coulter led all scorers with 44 points for the Golden Eagles. Eastern Wyoming’s Drezdon Jensen, noted as the top star, scored 23 points. The Lancers prevailed despite committing 16 turnovers to Laramie County’s seven, aided by superior three-point shooting, making 15 of 26 attempts. Laramie County fell to 12-11.
