HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Interstat) — The Harford Fighting Owls avenged an earlier loss with an 86-83 men’s junior college basketball victory over the Hagerstown Hawks on Monday night. Harford, which lost to Hagerstown by one point on Jan. 2, built a narrow lead by halftime and held on for the road win. The result improved Harford’s season record to 5-9, while Hagerstown fell to 3-10. The outcome was an upset according to statistical projections that favored the Hawks. Trevon Morgan led the Fighting Owls’ key performances in the victory.
