SOUTHERN CRESCENT, Ga. (Interstat) — The Southern Crescent Tigers defeated the Andrew Fighting Tigers 81-68 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

Southern Crescent built a halftime lead and maintained it after a high-scoring first half. Andrew scored 34 points in each of the first two quarters, but Southern Crescent answered with 38 and 43 points, respectively, to pull away.

The win improved Southern Crescent’s season record to 1-11. Andrew fell to 2-8. The result avenged a five-point home loss to Andrew on Jan. 10. Nicholas Mason led Southern Crescent, while Keavonte Anderson was the key performer for Andrew.
