PRICE, Utah (Interstat) — Utah State Eastern used a dominant second half to overcome a halftime deficit and defeat North Idaho 70-63 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

The visiting Cardinal led 63-60 after a high-scoring first half, but the Eagles surged with a 40-point second-quarter performance to secure the victory. Utah State Eastern’s Ethen Stoddard scored 16 points, while Isaac Castagnetto added 15. Ne’quan Brown led North Idaho with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

The Eagles improved to 15-6, while North Idaho fell to an even 10-10.
