MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. (Interstat) — Wabash Valley defeated Kaskaskia 82-75 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Warriors improved to 8-10 overall, while the Blue Devils fell to 3-7. Wabash Valley avenged a 78-65 loss to Kaskaskia from Dec. 10. A fast-paced first half saw Wabash Valley take a 44-32 lead after the opening quarter. Kaskaskia outscored the Warriors 43-38 after halftime but could not overcome the early deficit. Interstat’s ELO system had projected Wabash Valley with a 67.6 percent probability to win.
