PERKINSTON, Miss. (Interstat) — The Jones College Bobcats defeated the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs 81-75 in a men’s junior college basketball game Thursday night.

Jones, which led 33-33 after a back-and-forth first quarter, used superior three-point shooting to secure the road victory. The Bobcats made 8 of 22 from beyond the arc while the Bulldogs managed just 3 of 22.

Bob Dickson led Jones with 16 points and 11 rebounds in 24 minutes. King George paced Mississippi Gulf Coast with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

The win improved Jones to 10-5 overall, while Mississippi Gulf Coast fell to 10-3. The result avenged a double-overtime loss to the Bulldogs earlier this season.
