PRATT, Kan. (Interstat) — The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Hutchinson Community College 71-65 on Wednesday night.

Hutchinson’s Kyrell Shaw led all scorers with 34 points, helping the Blue Dragons build a 36-29 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Beavers responded with a 42-point second quarter, fueled by Muna Godswill’s 12 points and Scottie Guillory’s 15 points, to secure the comeback victory.

Pratt improved to 2-12 overall, while Hutchinson fell to 8-7. Both teams struggled from three-point range, combining to shoot 7 of 42. Pratt’s defense forced 15 turnovers and recorded eight steals.
