GRAYSON (Interstat) — The Grayson Vikings defeated the Temple Leopards 99-98 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. Grayson overcame a halftime deficit by outscoring Temple 55-46 in the second half. Temple led 98-97 late before a final Vikings basket secured the victory. The Leopards fell to 2-7 this season while Grayson improved to 2-14. The game surpassed the Interstat game simulator’s projection of a 100-100 tie. Temple had been given a 53.7 percent probability to win by the same service’s ELO system. The teams will meet again Feb. 14 at Temple.
