HAYS, Kan. (Interstat) — Fort Hays Tech overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to defeat Colby 80-73 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Trailblazers outscored the Trojans 53-40 in the second half.

Colby led 73-60 at halftime, fueled by 9-for-19 shooting from 3-point range. Fort Hays Tech rallied by forcing 19 turnovers and converting at the free-throw line, making 24 of 30 attempts. The Trailblazers also held a 53-27 scoring advantage after the first quarter.

Aliou Diallo led Colby with 19 points. Marquintez Dixon scored 13 points and blocked four shots for Fort Hays Tech, while Matija Otasevic grabbed 11 rebounds.

Fort Hays Tech improved to 7-7. Colby fell to 2-11.
