BOSSIER PARISH, La. (Interstat) — Angelina, a road underdog, defeated Bossier Parish 87-79 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Roadrunners built a 28-30 first-quarter deficit into a 59-49 halftime lead and held off the Cavaliers. Julius Crosby led Angelina with 20 points and nine assists, while Clarence Payia added 15 points and 10 rebounds. The win improved Angelina’s record to 6-3. Bossier Parish, which had been favored to win, fell to 3-3.
