Triton 80, at Kankakee 88

KANKAKEE, Ill. (Interstat) — The Kankakee Cavaliers outlasted the Triton Trojans 88-80 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. Kankakee led 43-35 after a fast-paced first quarter and maintained that eight-point margin by matching Triton’s 45-point output in the second quarter. The Cavaliers improved to 4-3. The Trojans, who got 16 points from Saadiq Moore, fell to 5-5. Miles Mitchell added 11 points and six rebounds for Triton.
