Calhoun Warhawks Dominate Second Half to Topple Motlow State Bucks

DECATUR, Ala. (Interstat) — The Calhoun Warhawks used a powerful second-half surge to defeat the Motlow State Bucks 81-61 in a men’s junior college basketball game Monday night.

Calhoun, which trailed by eight points after a high-scoring first quarter, took control after halftime. The Warhawks outscored the Bucks 43-31 in the second half to secure the victory. The win improved Calhoun’s record to 2-4, while Motlow State fell to 5-4. Tahir Bond led a balanced Calhoun attack. The result avenged a six-point home loss by the Warhawks to the Bucks just two weeks prior.
