SAN JOSE, Calif. (Interstat) — The San Jose Jaguars look to get back on track Sunday when they host the struggling Barstow Vikings in a California men’s junior college basketball matchup at the Home Motors Tournament.

San Jose (4-2) enters the contest following a 70-63 road loss to Allan Hancock on Friday. Jeremiah Butler led the Jaguars with 17 points and five rebounds in that defeat. The Jaguars had won three straight prior to the loss.

Barstow (1-4) is mired in a three-game losing streak, most recently falling 81-65 at Allan Hancock on Saturday. Peter Oguama recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the loss, while Trestyne Nguru and Owen Bentea also added 15 points each. The Vikings’ lone win this season was a 81-77 home victory over Bakersfield on Nov. 4.

Despite the teams’ contrasting records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring 100-100 draw.

Tip-off is set for Sunday, November 23, 2025.
