PORTERVILLE, Calif. (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Southwest Cougars (4-4) face the Porterville Pirates (0-3) in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, as part of the Milt Stowe Classic.

The Cougars are looking to return to .500 after a high-scoring, double-overtime defeat. Los Angeles Southwest fell 122-114 at Ventura on Tuesday despite standout performances from Karifala Conde (28 points, 11 rebounds), Alusine Barrie (25 points) and Demaree Collins (24 points, 4 rebounds). The team has shown offensive firepower but seeks consistency after alternating wins and losses in its last four games.

Porterville is in search of its first win of the season. The Pirates are coming off an 87-63 road loss to Victor Valley on Nov. 15. They have struggled offensively in their winless start, averaging just 59 points per game.

A statistical projection from Interstat forecasts a tightly contested game, simulating a 100-100 final score.

The game is scheduled for Saturday at a venue to be determined in Porterville.
