RIDGECREST, Calif. (Interstat) — The Santa Barbara Vaqueros, riding a two-game winning streak, will travel to face the winless Cerro Coso Coyotes in a California men’s junior college basketball matchup on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.

Santa Barbara (3-2) is coming off a narrow 81-79 home victory over Bakersfield on Nov. 14, where Mason Thomas led the team with 15 points. The Vaqueros have found their footing after a 1-2 start to the season.

Conversely, Cerro Coso (0-2) is looking to rebound from a 76-50 loss to Santiago Canyon on Nov. 15. The Coyotes also dropped their season opener to Bakersfield, 83-76. Scotty Anosier, Lance Bailey Jr., and Issiakoi Aminou have been the primary contributors for a Coyotes squad still seeking its first win.

Despite the contrasting records, a projection from Interstat’s game simulator anticipates a tightly contested game, predicting a 100-100 final score.

Following this contest, Santa Barbara will host Victor Valley on Nov. 25, while Cerro Coso will welcome Antelope Valley on the same date.
