ODESSA, Texas (Interstat) — The Odessa College men’s basketball team will look to continue its strong start when it faces Colorado Northwestern Community College on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, in a junior college non-conference matchup.

The game will be played at the CSI Gymnasium in Twin Falls, Idaho, as part of the Wright Physical Therapy Shootout. Tipoff is scheduled for a to-be-determined time.

Odessa (9-2) enters on a dominant note, having routed Hill College 68-42 on Nov. 29. The Wranglers have won seven of their last eight games, with the lone loss in that span a narrow 73-71 defeat at Collin County on Nov. 28. Key contributors in the latest win included Trey Johnson (16 points) and Jaden Fitzhugh (13 points, 4 blocks).

Colorado Northwestern (2-6) seeks to halt a four-game skid. The Spartans fell 85-61 to Northeastern (Colorado) on Nov. 29. Their season has been marked by high-scoring contests, including a 103-point offensive output in a win over Southern Nevada on Nov. 1.

A statistical projection from Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a tightly contested final score of 100-100.

Odessa will face Southern Idaho in the same event on Saturday, Dec. 6. Colorado Northwestern will host Eastern Arizona on Dec. 6.
