GLENDORA, Calif. (Interstat) — A stark contrast in early season fortunes will be on display Tuesday when the undefeated Citrus College Owls host the winless MiraCosta College Spartans in a California community college men’s basketball game.

The Owls (4-0) enter the contest riding a wave of offensive dominance, averaging 111.5 points per game in their four victories. They are coming off a 94-71 rout of Allan Hancock on Friday, where JJ Sanchez led the way with 22 points. Rockwell Reynolds added 15 points and nine rebounds, while Leo Ricketts dished out eight assists.

Conversely, the Spartans (0-4) are searching for their first win after falling 67-55 to Irvine Valley on Friday. Despite the loss, Travis Snider posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for MiraCosta, which has lost its games by an average margin of 16.5 points.

Citrus has showcased its firepower with wins of 48 and 58 points this season, while MiraCosta has yet to crack 70 points in a game. The matchup pits the Owls’ high-scoring attack against a Spartans squad struggling to find consistent offense.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at Citrus College.
