KENNEDY-KING MEN HOST WILBUR WRIGHT IN JUNIOR COLLEGE MATCHUP

CHICAGO (Interstat) — The Kennedy-King Statesmen will look to build on their first win of the season when they host the winless Wilbur Wright Rams in a men’s junior college basketball game on Thursday, Dec. 4.

The Statesmen (1-3) snapped a three-game skid with an 84-62 road victory over Harry S Truman on Nov. 22. Wilbur Wright (0-3) is seeking to rebound from a 101-54 home loss to Malcolm X on Nov. 20. The Rams have lost their three games by an average of 42.7 points.

Kennedy-King’s offense came alive in its win, surpassing its previous season-high point total by 10. Wilbur Wright has yet to score more than 55 points in a game this season.

Following this contest, the Statesmen are scheduled to visit Richard J. Daley on Dec. 13. The Rams will travel to face Triton on Dec. 9. The teams will meet again in Chicago on Feb. 5 at Wilbur Wright.
