KANKAKEE, Ill. (Interstat) — The Kankakee Cavaliers dominated the Kennedy-King Statesmen 89-51 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. Kankakee built an 89-51 victory behind efficient offense and stifling defense. The Cavaliers shot 43.1% from the floor and a sharp 88.9% from the free-throw line, making 24 of 27 attempts. They also forced 13 steals and outrebounded the Statesmen 41-28. Adrien Armstrong led Kankakee with 14 points and eight rebounds. Nashawn Holmes added 17 points.
