WILBURTON, Okla. (Interstat) — The Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers earned their first win of the season Thursday, overcoming a halftime deficit to defeat the Grayson Vikings 70-59 in a men’s junior college basketball game.

Grayson led 59-55 entering the final period but was shut out in the fourth quarter, failing to score a single point. Eastern Oklahoma State closed the game on a 15-0 run to secure the victory. The Mountaineers improved to 1-2 overall, while Grayson fell to 2-9. The result avenged a 10-point road loss to the Vikings earlier this season.
