PRATT, Kan. (Interstat) — The Seward County Saints edged the Pratt Beavers 81-79 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. Seward County’s Lucas N’Gombo scored 17 points, including several key baskets late, to help secure the road victory. Seydina Faye led all scorers with 21 points for Pratt in the loss.

Seward County (8-3) shot 53.1% from the floor but just 20% from three-point range. Pratt (0-7) held a 26-20 rebounding advantage but was undone by 18 turnovers, which the Saints converted into 12 steals. The game featured 41 total fouls, with both teams spending significant time at the free-throw line.
