Seward County vs Pratt
PRATT, Kan. (Interstat) — The Seward County Saints look to continue a winning season when they visit the struggling Pratt Beavers in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday.
Seward County (7-3) enters on a positive note, coming off a 53-48 road victory at Hutchinson on Saturday. RJ McKinnie led the Saints in that win with 14 points and five rebounds.
Pratt (0-6) is still seeking its first win after a narrow 81-80 loss at Independence, also on Saturday. Galvin Luketa scored 20 points in the defeat for the Beavers.
The Saints have shown balance, with three different players leading the team in scoring over their past three games. Pratt’s defense has been a season-long issue, allowing an average of 86.2 points per game.
Despite the records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring 100-100 draw.
Seward County visits Fort Hays Tech on Saturday. Pratt travels to Barton the same day.
