FRESNO, Calif. (Interstat) — Two of California’s top early-season men’s junior college basketball teams will clash Friday when the West Valley Vikings visit the Fresno City Rams.

West Valley (3-1) enters the non-conference matchup with momentum, coming off an 83-65 home victory over Lemoore on Wednesday. The Vikings’ only blemish this season was a 59-53 road loss to Fullerton on Nov. 6. They have since posted decisive wins over San Diego City and Compton.

Fresno City (2-1) last played on Nov. 7, earning a 92-82 home win against Oxnard. The Rams opened their season with a split in a back-to-back, falling 95-85 at Sacramento City before securing a 74-71 road win at El Camino.

The game will be a test for both squads before they continue their respective schedules. West Valley travels to San Francisco on Nov. 21, while Fresno City will visit Diablo Valley on the same date.

Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Fresno City College.
