RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Interstat) — The Riverside Tigers used a decisive second-half surge to defeat the Long Beach Vikings 85-69 in a men’s junior college basketball game Friday. After leading 33-24 at halftime, Riverside outscored Long Beach 52-45 after the break to secure the victory. Lawrence Brown led all scorers with 32 points for the Vikings. PJ Pounds recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers, who improved to 3-2. Long Beach fell to 1-3.
