RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Friday when the Long Beach Vikings visit the Riverside Tigers.

Both teams enter the non-conference matchup with identical 1-2 overall records. The game is scheduled for November 14, 2025.

Long Beach is coming off its first win of the season, a 69-66 home victory over Rio Hondo on Nov. 7. Kamron Fontenot led the Vikings in that contest, scoring 18 points and pulling down nine rebounds in 39 minutes of action. Joshua Pearson added 14 points.

Riverside also snapped a two-game skid in its last outing, edging San Diego Mesa 58-55 on the road Nov. 5. The Tigers’ lone loss prior to that was an 88-56 defeat at Ventura.

Following this game, Long Beach will host Canyons on Nov. 19. Riverside will travel to face Mount San Antonio on the same date.
