Bishop State vs Chipola
MARIANNA, Fla. (Interstat) — The Chipola College Indians, riding a two-game winning streak, will host the Bishop State Wildcats in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Monday.
Chipola (6-2) enters the contest following a narrow 71-69 home victory over Jones College on Nov. 26. The Indians also defeated Panola College 56-50 on Nov. 25. Their two losses this season came against Trinity Valley and South Georgia Tech in overtime.
The visiting Wildcats (1-2) are looking to build on the momentum from their last outing, a decisive 100-75 road win against Northwest Mississippi on Nov. 21. That victory snapped a two-game skid for Bishop State, which opened its season with losses to Jones and Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The game will be the first of a home-and-home series between the teams this season. They are scheduled to meet again at Bishop State on Jan. 5, 2026.
Following Monday’s game, Chipola will host Daytona State on Friday. Bishop State’s next contest is at Jones on Dec. 4.
